App Deliveries / Pickups of Goods
The Project
Customized App development of a mobile App to allow the tracking in real time of the drivers pickups and deliveries of a freight transport company.
The Android App was built with Java programming. The main challenge of the project was to design an App that would adapt to the drivers needs. To achieve this goal, our designers took into account both the user interface (UI), identifying the most optimal form of interaction, and the user experience (UX) so that the use of the App is simple and practical.
The application allows the drivers of the transport company to manage their daily pickups and deliveries in real time, as well as the orders that are assigned to them throughout the day from the logistics center. The application architecture have a identification system (login system) and a push notifications system to alert drivers of new orders assigned to them. Additionally, the App included a list of pickups and another of deliveries. The first allowed to manage and supervise the pickups made by the drivers and, the second, the deliveries of goods. For the acceptance of the delivery notes, an electronic signature system was implemented avoiding the use of documents by the carriers.
Later, we developed the integration of the App backend with the order management system of the company to synchronize both applications.
The Client
