Decidim Barcelona

The Decidim participatory democracy platform is an open-source web application, built with RoR framework, which promotes democracy at all levels. The platform includes different spaces for participation (processes, consultations, participation bodies, initiatives, conferences) to facilitate collective decision making and its dissemination and transparency among society.

During 2017 and 2018, we participated in the development of 9 core modules of the web platform to increase and improve its functionalities. The new functionalities implemented allowed to improve the management of processes, bodies or meetings, among others, on the Decidim platform.

Thanks to this knowledge, in CodiTramuntana we are specialists in the installation, adaptation, evolution and maintenance of the democratic application Decidim.

Currently, we are the team in charge of the Core of the Decidim project and we develop the evolutions of the following computer applications of the Barcelona City Council:
