Decidim Girona Provincial Council

Installation, adaptation and maintenance of the platform Decidim, citizen participation platform, for the Girona Provincial Council, with the aim that it can offer it to the province city councils. The platform installation was carried out on a multi-tenant server of the Provincial Council so that it could be offered to different City Council. Web platform built with RoR (Ruby on Rails) with RWD design that allows it to adapt to different devices (pc, tablet or mobile).

The democratic participation platform Decidim, allows to manage participatory processes with the involvement of citizens. Within each space of participation, both the participants and the administration itself can generate their own proposals, allowing their subsequent voting, debate and broadcast on social platforms. Administrators can configure the visualizing method of the proposals vote results. Once the results are published, the platform allows the community to follow its execution.

Additionally, the Decidim platform allows different participatory processes, such as responding to surveys or participating in meetings or participatory budgets.

The platform modules were adapted according to the needs of the client. During the service, we provided technical advice, software training course and platform updates to include the new functionalities of the platform.
