Kauchy eCommerce

Maintenance and new functionalities developments of the ecommerce web platform of the Kauchy, specialized in the online sale of vintage furniture design. Web platform built with RoR (Ruby on Rails) that has an extranet for its clients.

The project consisted of improving the shopping experience of ecommerce users. On the one hand, the direct purchase of users not registered in the ecommerce was allowed and the shopping cart functionality was included, allowing to buy more than one product and track the order. On the other hand, the ecommerce was integrated with the Stripe payment platform, to allow its users to pay using this system. The tracking of transactions and products purchased is done entirely within the web platform. Subsequently, to manage the availability of ecommerce products, the functionality of product stock within the CMS or back-office of the platform was included.

To improve communication with ecommerce users, changes have been made to the web portal intranet to facilitate the queries management. Finally, the web platform was integrated through an API with the Trustpilot platform, to allow users to include their opinions / ratings about ecommerce, which will be displayed in the Testimonials section.
