Salou Participa

CodiTramuntana has been part of the "development team" of the open source platform Decidim. For this reason, it has the know-how to offer consulting services for the platform configuration and new modules development. Web platform built with RoR, with RWD design that allows it to adapt to different devices (computer, tablet or smartphone).

The project for the Salou City Council has consisted in the installation, configuration and maintenance of the democratic participation platform Decidim. The web platform has been installed on an exclusive server, managed by CodiTramuntana, an option that allows all types of platform customizations, as the adaptation of its tonalities to those of the City Council website.

The Decidim platform offers the City Council the option of managing participatory processes with the neighbors in a transparent manner. The processes can be managed by "Phases" and configured to respond to the needs of each Phase.

The information section allows to offer information in static pages and the sending of Newsletters to the participants who are interested.

Participation spaces (processes or assemblies) allow the participants and / or the administration to generate their proposals, allowing its subsequent voting, debate and broadcast on social networks. Once the results of the voting have been published, the platform allows the community to follow its execution through the "follow" function.

In addition to participatory processes, users can answer surveys, participate in meetings, prepare participatory budgets or select various proposals based on a pre-established budget.

Decidim allows the management of democratic participation in an online platform, a fact that facilitates a wider and more transversal participation of citizens.

The platform modules were configured according to the needs of the City Council. During the service, were offered technical advice, software training course and platform updates to the new versions.
